I am a digital media consultant specializing in multimedia journalism. I have trained over 1000 journalists and content creators in executing mobile journalism (Mojo) across various newsrooms all over the world.

As a former multimedia journalist, I understand the dynamic media space that’s constantly evolving and resources not being available to everyone. Keeping that experience in mind, I have developed cost-effective models for small to large-scale organizations like Outlook Magazine, Hind Samachar, JagBani, NTV, and Radio Bangla.

More than 100 newsrooms in India benefited from my smartphone training sessions in collaboration with Facebook Journalism Project (FJP). The upskilling sessions bridged the gap between legacy and digital-only media newsrooms. I have done similar training workshops in collaboration with Punjab Kesari, Outlook Magazine, WAN-IFRA and USAGM.

While working for The Hindustan Times (India’s second-largest newspaper), I produced their weekly food show ‘Tried and Tasted’ - the longest-running video show for the conglomerate then. Apart from the daily news cycle, I did an eight-episode news documentary series for the media group that garnered more than 10 million views on social media platforms.

Accessing the engagement from my news work cycle, I also wrote for organizations like TRT World and News18 to name a few. The core premise was to pick out topics primarily ignored by the mainstream media across the globe.

With the varied experiences I've had in the media landscape, I work with researchers on enhancing efficiency for organizations wanting to change their mindset on a budget. I have written a research paper on how smartphones are a great way to change a media organization's mindset.
